Try and connect with all the people around you in your area to travel with you and then once at camp, we can all give you a hand.
It would be really awesome if you could make it! I would love to meet you and the twins. I hope to see you there nd I wish I didnt live so far away from you, I would definitely travel with some one, it seems a lot better than traveling all alone!
Good luck!

Re: Camp UBPN 2007
Caralyn has been bugging me to check out the campsite for the UBPN camp this upcoming year. I told her that we would try to combine it with her Mayo trip that is coming up in Sept of 2007. We are hoping to fly to Seattle then drive over to Minnesota, then we we will probably have to fly back to Alaska from there because it takes about 3 days just to drive to Seattle from Alaska and we just can't take that much time off of work between her camp and her checkup at Mayo. We are looking forward to seeing everyone again. I am hopeing we will be able to swing this.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.
My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!
I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".

Yum Maple Cookies are so good.
Liz anything you bring over from England will be great. One of these days I really hope to get back there, to see all the changes and so David can see all the place I saw and how much fun I had.
See you all next Sept.
Hugs, Karen
