We've had success using a scooter board (available at Target) where my daughter (with elbow extension splint on as triceps are very weak) weight-bears on the board and pushes her toys, dolls, etc. around the house (works better on carpet as the board can get away from them on hard surfaces). We make a game of it by having her "move" her toys from one area of the house to another and she actually likes it.

We had a lot of trouble getting Natalie to weight-bear when she was younger (very frustrating as a parent), but she has become much more cooperative regarding therapy as she has gotten a little older - she's currently 2 1/2.
