4 MONTH OLD WITH BPI
Re: 4 MONTH OLD WITH BPI
Hi Kathy,
I too have a 4 month old daugher with BPI. The replys brought tears to my eyes. I have had many emotions over the past 4 months but I have now come to terms with the injury and will do whatever possible to help Abbey's arm function improve but most importantly I want her life to be as normal as possible and for her to feel like she can do everything a child without a BPI injury can do.
Abbey has been in OT since 2 weeks old and has made a lot of improvment. She still wants to keep her wrist/hand in the "waiters tip" position and now wears a splint to help with that. She has a wonderful therapist and we will be going to San Diego Children's BPI clinic in October.
Congratulations on your baby and enjoy every minute with him, this is such a fun age.
