VOTE on the UBPN Awareness Car Magnet
A discussion on the general message boards suggested that UBPN create and sell a car magnet. It would have two purposes:
1. to raise awareness of brachial plexus injuries and 2. to raise funds for camp scholarships.
The Board of Directors would like the input of our BPI community in determining the color and shape of this magnet. Please assist us by voting in this poll.
You can go directly to the poll at:

Thanks for doing this survey. It is fun to see how the voting is going. Just curious, what text is going to be written on the magnet?
I like the idea of having blue as the outline and text color and a bell b/c if anyone else does silver ribbons for something else, ours will look different.
I thought about the hand, but it seems like we're always trying to get people to understand that it's not just the arm / hand that are impacted so I personally prefer the ribbon. I notice that a lot of people do like the hand idea though. Whatever the outcome, we'll want some of them. Thanks again.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Hi Tina
We are excited about this event and our ability to have an online poll is a great new addition.
I am with you on the hand... I also love the bell and ribbon.
It's fun to see how the votes are going. Can't wait to see the end result.

Votes keep flip flopping. Will the winner be the ribbon and bell or the hand?
We'll keep the poll open for a while longer because we are still getting lots of votes.
If you have not voted please do so!
