Hi Patty, Danielle is doing amazing. No pain meds since leaving the hospital and I have to remind her that she has a cast on. She likes to run and climb and is not letting a little thing like a cast stop her, lol. Dani didn't get to pick the color of her cast. She has a glow in the dark white one. The recovery room nurse was so upset it wasn't pink, She made Carl come down and at least make the arm hot pink. It looks a ilttle funny but only for a few weeks, right? Our appt on Feb 28 is at 1:00pm with therapy to follow. I'll email you as we get closer. - Dawn

Sounds great! In your care notes it says not to stick anything down the cast to relieve an itch and to use a cool blow dryer instead. It worked great for Michael when he did itch. Good luck. Talk to you soon.
