- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

What a wonderful memorial.
He was so nice to us when we met him. Being new parents to a BPI child. He was warm and friendly, he stopped by us at the picnic and we talked, and he truly made me feel welcome. He was such a nice guy and it makes me sad to know that I will not see him again.

Mike was such a wonderful person. When we met him at our first picnic he was such a uplifting person. He gave us a gift of hope for our child...we will never forget him. I am so sad because I thought we would see him again next year so I can't imagine how you guys are feeling. Our thoughts and prayers are with you guys and his family now...God bless.

A beautiful, special memorial. I never had the pleasure meeting him, but it's obvious that he was very loved.
God Bless his family,
