Tears of Joy..

Post by Melissa_Allison »

Good Morning All:

I have some news that I need to share with all of you. First of all as you all know Allison went for an MRI about 2 weeks ago. The nurse from Dr. Waters office called me and told me that she has a subluxation to her right shoulder. She is partially dislocated. We are due to see him for a check up in 3 weeks and he will go over everything with us then. This was hard news for me but hopefully we will get more information when we go and see him.

Now for my exciting news..... last night Allison was sitting in her high chair and we just go done eating dinner. She has a little scratch on her left wrist. So I asked her where her booboo was and she used her index finger on her right hand which is her BPI to point to her scratch and she said there is booboo. So then I asked her if she had a booboo on her arm and I pointed up on her forearm but right where the arm bends and she actually pointed to it. SHE BENT HER ARM!!! I CRIED WITH JOY....that is the first time she ever bent her arm....
of course I had to keep asking her and she kept doing it....

That is my girl....

Absolutely Awesome Allison!!! Keep up the good work. I remember when Kyle would get a new movement. It is so exciting and you keep asking them to do it just to make sure it was real. That's great. Best wishes for many more to come.

Melissa such wonderful news! Yeah for little Allison! I'm sure you are just thrilled. Every movement our children get back is such a blessing. I'm so happy for you and Allison. Let's pray it continues, and she gets even more!
