Re: Francine
I remember when I first found the UBPN board and "met" Francine. I was completely out of my mind with worry, anger, sadness, all the emotions that we go through when learning about this injury. I had no one else to turn to, so I emailed Francine. She made some comments to me that have stuck with me this past year.
1. Our kids are more than just "their arm".
2. Our kids will always adapt and learn to do things differently...
3. No matter how down we are about "the arm", we have to keep going for the sake of our children.
So, Francine, THANK YOU! You cannot imagine how much you have touched my family's lives just by your wisdom and kindness.

Re: Francine
Francine you have also helped me with things I had no idea about. I have looked at Maia's website numerous times to try & get as much information as I can about my own injury. I have found such wonderful people on this site. Nancy has always answered my many questions that I have. Rachel, we have become such good friends & I feel like I know you so well. Hopefully one day I will get to meet all of you.
I just want to thank you all. My family knows you because I talk about ya'll so much.
Thanks!

Oh Francine, you cannot imagine how much I have come to depend on your presence here. I am an infrequent poster, but a consistent lurker. I've learned so much from the information you have shared. Your commitment to education is fantastic and has touched many more lives than you know - I'm sure of this. Thank you for all you do. Big Hugs. Nancy
