Re: Hair
Well, Unfortunately I have not found out any information about this yet. My contacts didn't even know I had a brachial plexus injury!! That made me excited to know that I hid it that well when I was doing hair!!! I'll still try my searching for ya!!
Don't hold your breath on me though!!!
Thanks
Rachel

Nancy
Since I am Bilateral I should have thin hair all the way round right hahaha
Actually my weaker arm (right)is the side of my head I have the MOST hair on?? I always have the beautician thin that side as it is quite noticable with my short haircut. I have such thick hair I just figure if one side starts thinning I'll just do as some goofy men do and start brushing it over the top to the other side
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHa (sorry guys, but that is the most God awful thing I've ever seen)

Re: Hair
It's good to know what's going on with my hair. Hair dressers will recommend every product on earth without realizing that there is a real problem going on. No lie the right side of my hair will grow to the floor if I let it, but the left side will barely grow. I noticed this problem after having bells palsy. Intensive massaging seems to help.
Re: Hair
Hi Nancy,
My obp injury is on the left side and guess what! My beard grows unevenly (less hair on the left side of my face) and there is less hair on the left side of my chest then there is on the right side. I always have assumed that the beard problem was a part of the bpp. As far as hair thickness is concerned I haven't checked lately but I'm going to take a look and post another message to give the results. This all goes to show that a lot of research needs to be done on the subject of bpp.

Re: Hair
Hi again,
I shaved about 20 hairs from my left arm and about the same from my right arm and compared them under a microscope. I know this sounds like overkill but it was fun. The left arm hairs are definitely thinner, hair for hair, then those of the right arm. There is less hair on the left arm them there is on the right arm. You can tell even without a microscope that the hair on the left arm is finer, softer, and not as dense.
