Dear Old Board:

Post by AK1999 »

I can't believe that I have such feelings for you old board. Well I guess it is because we have been through so much in the last 2 years. You were the first friend I met when I "landed in Holland". Through all my fears and countless tears you were around both day and night and I thank you. I thank all of you moms and dad out there.

I will miss the old format which has been my daily security blanket for such a long time. But I will adjust, because any day now, a very confused mom or dad will discover this site and to them, it will be the first light during a time of darkness as it was to all of us...

I miss the old board too! I feel like I lost a friend or something which is sort of silly since everybody is still here I guess. It really got to me when you said that any day now a Mom or Dad would find this site and it would be the first light in a time of darkness. I sure remember the darkness and how scary and lonely it felt. Anyway - good post! (Oh - I guess this will be my 3rd post now - - I still do not like being tallied up every time!!!!!)

I will miss you too!
It was the first time in 60 years I found a spot where everyone knew what I was talking about. I found the old format comfortable. But obpi's cannot get to comfortable we need new challenges to keep us hopping...
And especially Older OBPIneed to keep the brain functioning. Still need spell check... LOL... I think I am hounding poor ryan about that.

Will miss the old board but glad that all the friends moved with it.
