As for my dd. She walked at 1 yr, no swing in her BPI arm. She'll be 3 in July and is just starting to swing and put her arm out for balance...there's a wide gap in how each side of her body looks in terms of arm swing. She tends to shorten her trunk on her BPI side.
She does have a slight toe-in on her BPI side, but she rarely falls. We've done balance work with her since she's been very small (ball, tube-rolling, swinging, see-saw steps, etc.)
