Second surgery was in April 2007 - a bicep muscle transfer performed by Dr Nath and Dr Boutros. Still no real improvement - he has function of his hand, but no other function of his arm (cannot bend his elbow).
Accomodations in Houston
When we've been in Houston before we've stayed at the Residence Inn. This time I am looking us staying at the Amalfi Apartment complex (through the Corporate Apartment Network) at Hermann Museum Circle. It is cheaper than the Residence Inn and the rooms are much larger. The only downsides are there isn't a grocery store next door & I'm not sure of the shuttle to the medical center. I was told there is a shuttle to the medical center and a daily shuttle to a grocery store. Has anyone stayed at the Amalfi? What was your experience??
Thanks!
