I have posted on her before, but haven't in a very long time. A little background - my husband sustained a BP injury in November 2003 in an ATV accident. He had his first surgery in Februay 2004 - a nerve transfer performed by Dr. Nath. Then in April 2007 he had a bicep muscle transfer (took a muscle from his back and put it in his bicep) that was performed by Dr. Nath & Dr. Boutros. He was scheduled to have another surgery tomorrow - Dr. Boutros was going to tighten up the muscle. After doing a few tests on his arm, Dr Boutros didn't feel like the muscle is strong enough and the tightening surgery would not help. They now want to do another muscle transfer. The problem is we live in Montana and travel to Houston is expensive. Does anyone know of any assistance with travel expenses associated with surgeries??
Thanks in advance!
