Can you respond yes/no - video
Could you please take a second to respond yes or no to whether or not you have a video of your injured childs birth? I have been wondering how many of us have videos that show the delivery? It seems like many of us don't, and with hospitals everywhere now banning it, who knows if we will ever get to catch the truth on video.
It makes me wonder because without our video I would not have clear details of what really truly happened in that delivery room. When you are delivering a baby it is just a little hard to see exactly what is going on down there. I was SHOCKED to later see exactly what occurred. Another sad fact is that our attorney said we would most likely have NO case if it were not for our video. Since the records were written so well to cover someones behind it would have been a hard case to fight without the evidence of the video (at least in our particular case). Please just reply with a quick yes or no, really curious how many of us even have got to see the actual delivery of our child after the fact.

Re: Can you respond yes/no - video
We weren't allowed to tape, but my husband did leave the camcorder on under the side table to catch the sounds. And of course it doesn't "show" anything, but you sure can hear my pain when Jessica got caught & the evil nurse turned off my meds because she thought I just wasn't pushing enough. The tv was on & most of the interaction between the doctor & nurses was drowned out, so no help on a lawsuit.

We did not have a video of Andrew's birth. He was our 5th child, and we didn't video any of the births.

yes, we have a video...doesnt show a whole lot though but it does have a lot of the all important commands the dr gave such as "fundal pressure" a couple of times... was definately a help in our case since amazingly (not really) enough she never bothered to mention that she called for fundal pressure!

Yes, we have a videotape of our daughter's birth, and it is clear when the injury occurred.

Sorry! no video here. I sure wish we did though, but we have a really good case without it though.
