We live in Texas and our daughter is on medicaid, has anyone been able to get a TES machine through medicaid?
If anyone has could you please give me advice on how to get that done. I have already contacted Mayatek and I'm waiting to hear back from them to see if they can do it I just wanted to see if there was anything I could do. Thanks

I don't have any advice to give you. We bought our unit a while back and I'm still fighting with our insurance company to pay for it. Just wanted to wish you luck.

hi Hannah just started e-stim (her unit is broke only had it 1 month) We also have medicaid in WI and it does not cover it in this state. Our insurance did fortunately.

TX medicaid has chosen not to cover TES at this time. Mayatek, the company that distributes the TES unit has started an initiative with TX medicaid to get coverage, but government wheels turn slowly.

Thanks everyone for posting, We have had wonderful news! A second cousin of mine has a child with cerebal palsy And my mother told me she had taken him to see Karen Pape about TES and they bought the machine. I called her to see if they are still using it and she said no so they are sending it to us. What an answer to prayer. What a relief. Thanks everyone!
