Brooke's new sister
Hi everyone,
It's been forever since I posted, as my late pregnancy with my second child was really difficult (gestational diabeties and being scared out of my mind to have another bpi child!) and since she's been born things have been crazy. Crazy but wonderful. It is so wonderful to have her uninjured, her name is Brynn. She was born October 14th of last year, 5 weeks early by c-section.
Brooke is really enjoying her new sister, although it is difficult for her to have less mommy time.
Anyway, thought I'd let everyone know I'm back, back to work, and am still around...for those who know me:)
I'd love to post some pictures of my new honey, but can't figure out how to do so. If someone could offer some guidance I would appreciate it!!
Take care all!
Hugs,
Lauren (Brooke's mom, 3LOBPI)

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.
My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!
I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".

Hi Lauren - you can't post pictures on here but you can go to some place like photobucket.com and post them there and create an album there and then post the link to it here.

Congrats Lauren!!! So glad that the birth went well. Brooke will forever love that she has a sib. Sibs are the best thing in the world even if they make us share our attention and are there to fight with us. They are a blessing!
You should create an album at www.photobucket.com and post pics of your babies!
Congrats again,
Amy 21 years old ROBPI from MN
