Hi! I think we met last July at TCH. Kelsey is my daughter, and we were in the waiting and recovery room together if I have the right Josie. You can e-mail me at patterson765@msn.com if you want. Kelsey is going to have the C7transfer or the intercostals done this summer, and the free muscle transfers next summer. How did Josie do with Mod Quad?

Hi Nancy and Kelsey

Yes, we are. How are you? Is a pleasure to hear about you. Jocey is doing great. The best day was one month after the surgery when she reached the top of her head. Since that she has been really exited about her hand. She is very happy because she could do more activities she can't before the mod quad. She is doing her exercise by herself all the days. Is very motivated. Also we started the e-steam one month ago almost four months after the last surgery. This is the only theme she do not like. The TCH doctors determinate it. They told us they do not want be damaged the graft done to her arm during the last surgery also they cut a little bid one muscle.

The next surgery Kelsey will have was done to Jocey too, but when she was 6 months old. That is why her first surgery was too long around 14 hours.

I will like to ask you about the surgery of the free muscle transfer. Where they will implant it? On her wrist? I sent one email to you. Best wishes,

Jose & Ivelisse Morales
