Exciting news!!

A very good friend of mine is married to a wonderfull man that does editing computer work and works parttime for CBS. He said that the producer of CBS approached him and wants to do a segment on Tyler and his injury, possibly(sp) on 48hrs! I am so excited and nervous. I have to write a one page paper on what happened to him and how. Of course I am a terrible writer, so if there is anyone that can help me so that I get it just right I would greatly appreciate it. I will let you guys know more later when I get more info. On a different note, I have run into the doctor that injured Tyler twice this week. I havn't seen since my 6 week check up. My oldest son is in karate and just moved to a different time slot, well the doctors son is in the class before his, so he was there to pick him up. It felt really strange, I just wanted to run away. Sorry to ramble i am just a little excited. Thanks for listening.

Dear Jennifer, I have to ask...how will you handle seeing the doctor in the future? I have often thought about this and wondered what I would do. We have a lawsuit going against him presently, but when all is said and done, I often tell myself that I will confront him, and let him know that he was totally wrong when he told me my son would be "just fine" in a few days.

Jennifer....WOW that is great news. I hope they do the story. Please keep us posted on the when and where. How exciting. You should check out the awareness section of this site. It has alot of great info on it. There may be some thing you could use for your paper...like statistics and the mechanics of the injury and how it effects people. Anyway keep us posted. Take care.
