Attention early campers
For those campers arriving early in the Seattle area, we want to advise you of highway work in the Seattle area that will cause serious congestion on I-5 northbound into the city. Work is scheduled to be from 8/10 through 8/29. So if, for example, you are trying to go to the Pacific Science Center and Space Needle from South of the city stay off I-5 and use Alaskan Way along the waterfront.
Information about the work can be viewed at http:/www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/I5/SpokaneStreetBridgeRepair/. Ask your rental car agency about alternate routes.
Note that the I-5 work will not affect access to Camp Berachah which is located South of the city.
