Good article for OUTREACH
Christy-
I wrote to Bridgit requesting that she consider this for OUTREACH--but I haven't heard back.
I hope she contacts you about it.
Some very valuable stuff here-and so well put.
Take care--if it's too "good" for the OUTREACH sponsors--try Reader's Digest for starters.

Bobbie ("Pam Anon"),
Your email message to me concerning Outreach was insulting and rude, as is this post.
Please do not contact me again.

One more thing...As the Editor of Outreach I have always been open to any story ideas presented to me. If Christy feels like she would like to share her story with the wider audience reading Outreach, all she needs to do is approach me directly with her thoughts.
Many times people choose not to publish their stories, no matter how interesting, because they prefer to remain more private about their situation. I believe Brittney's photo appeared in the last issue of Outreach, along with her swimming accomplishments, so perhaps Christy would be open to sharing with a wider audience. It will be her decision, of course.
I have pretty much reached the end of my rope with these ridiculous "inferences" and not-so-subtle barbs directed towards UBPN and now Outreach from one unsettled individual in particular. My goals and intentions have always been straightforward and honorable, I truly and deeply resent being unfairly accused in this manner. I feel like I am being harassed. Please stop.

Re: No surgery - reply for Carole
Hi all, this is Christy again. Thanks again for your kind replies to my post. I just wanted to let you know that Bridget had contacted me about possibly putting this story in the Outreach but I chose not to do this. This post was actually a very personal one. I had stated so many detailed facts about Brittney's life and also my own fears for her. I'd rather that Brittney didn't know too much about the struggles I've had as her Mom. It might be hard for her to know that sometimes it hurts me to see her struggle. (you know what I mean) Bridget asked me to consider possibly writing something a little less personal about our experiences so far and I will definitely consider that. Thanks again, Christy
