Triangle Tilt being sent to Dr. Hentz

My insurance is playing games with me once again! I had authorization for the triangle tilt procedure and was leaving in 4 days, but they denied it yesterday after I had already scheduled non-refundable airfare and hotel. The reason is due to money and politics!

Now they are trying to send us to Dr. Hentz instead. I know Dr. Hentz is an excellent Dr as well, but this procedure is pioneered by Dr. Nath.

Has anyone else heard of Dr. Hentz or any other Dr. performing a procedure similiar to the triangle tilt???

I need to be pro-active about this and my insurance did this knowing when the surgery was scheduled so that I don't have time to fight it!

Any advice or help is greatly appreciated!

You have to give the insurance company proof that Dr. Hentz does not do the Triangle Tilt surgery. Call his office and find out and then call your insurance company and tell them. The insurance company can call Dr. Hentz's office to verify it.

Continuity of Care....if your child has had surgery with Dr. Nath in the past, then those words should help your fight. It is so nice of them to change this at the last minute, what a joke....how do they get away with it???? I would try the Continuity of Care fight and see if that gets you anywhere!!! GAYLE
