Hi, I just saw this site for the first time this morning. I was in bad shape from a car accident, I recovered, although the specialists all told me it was not possible. It just occured to me to use the web to tell others how I got the use of my arm back. I will post under a new topic of RECOVERY STORY on the main board.

I'm Laurie and I live in Arizona. Got my BPI from wrong positioning during a routine surgery in 2003. LOVE meeting other BPI people. Waiting for the day when we have a big bash in the USA like they do in the UK

I'm Sue, mom to Dustin. He has a lbpi due to mva. His car against 2 semi trucks 11/2/05. He's 18, Wisconsin. I have learned a lot here. Appreciate all the info. Wish I could hold u all and tell u it would get better. Have a made a few posts. Mostly use it for moral support, this is a hard one for us to deal with.

Hi! I'm Denise, wife of Greg (RTBPI - July 2005) motorcycle accident - A lady failed to yield a left turn and hit him broadside. He hit two poles, 1 with the bike and 1 without. He was flown to Shock Trauma here in Baltimore, MD where he spent a week in a coma, suffered an aortic tear, dissection to his right carotid artery. Stent put in ca on 10/25/05. Since he's taking plavix, he has to be able to come off before any surgery can be performed. I wrote in back in Feb. 2005. Any new info? I am very interested and would be very appreciative.
