United Brachial Plexus Network

Has anyone had the DREZ surgery performed on them and what were the results? I suffered a brachial plexus root avulsion from a mountain bike accident on the North Shore mountains in Vancouver, BC, Canada and am now in line for this surgery. But I'm getting nervous because I've heard some bad things about it.

Hi Bill...I know of at least 6 people now who have had this surgery, most of them in the UK. Hey Bill, I had a DREZ done in Van, by Dr. Michael C Boyd. I live in Kamloops. Used to live in Van. How long you had injury and do you suffer from the pain?
