I'm here! I was wondering the same thing actually. Everyone seems to post on the general board. I'll try to post here too!

How are you and your sister feeling... Oh! and lets not forget your Mom how is she holding up? How are you feeling are things getting better and are you gaining any movement? I hope so
I see that insurance is a big issue...
We pay more for insurance now and get less.
My insurance hates to pay for too much PT... I fought with them until they just had to give it to me..
But in the end I just hated the fighting so I - had to put in a hot tub at great expense ( and my town and school taxes will go up !) just to ease the pains and aches and get some real stetching in... It is great for pain relief and it helps to keep me loose and ease some of the pains just from compensation... it works so I guess all that money is worth it... I let you know when I pay it off... LOL...
my great PT has dropped my insurance because he had to fight for every dollar and tons of paper work... so I have to pay him on my own next time I go...

How about you girls posting on this board about your adventures as adult/obpi and surgery... Start a thread
it might help some of the lurking adult/obpi to step forward and ask some questions on adults and the possibility of surgery.
I remember finding the boards and thinking there were no adult/obpi only me until I met Nancy and Judy...
Hi John I thought you might be around. Say Hi to Marlene for me.

Kath,
We are all doig good! My sister gets her hirst set of stitches out today! The rest next week I think. Nothing yet in my arm except pain in the forearm, but I guess thats good! Iwant a hot tub! MI sure does get cold winters! The insurance thing is just a complete mess! All the money that we pay them, you would think that there NO QUESTION as to paying for things! But this is America right, hahaha! Take care!

I'm here too.
I read every post even though I don't respond to them all!
We have been working hard to get Outreach out the door and into your mailboxes, so that has kept me busy!
That and visits to Kathleen and her famous hot tub.
Just to add to the insurance issue. My husband is changing jobs and I just realized we will be without insurance for a month. Now that is a scary thought.
