I Want TO Help UBPN!
HI, it's Tony (ASC),
I am posting my dedication to the organization. I am a talent person with many skills and abilities. And, I would like to offer these talents to UBPN. What do you need for assistance?

Hi Tony,
what do we need help with....well as a non profit, fundraising is always on a high priority. we do what we can, but for a successful fundraising effort it takes alot more time than most of us have. we have depended on the general community for most donations, but we have had some excellent fundraising though 5k's and some community fundraisers through a cub-scout troupe, and also a private school wear what you want to school day. it has been amazing how some community memebers have raised money!
Additionally, we have the need for web/it expertise. currently i am doing it, and although
I have found it cool to do, I am not an expert (chemist by training)
We could probably use expertise in PR, getting sponsors for programs, camp etc.
If you write me richard@ubpn.org we could discuss what your interests/expertise is and maybe we could find something that would be a great benefit for the community! thank you!!!!!

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.
My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!
I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".
There is NO SUCH THING AS A DUMB QUESTION.
