- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: BPI right side, complete loss of movement and feeling(except the Neuropathic Pain), happened October 2001 due to Motorcycle Accident. Surgery deemed too risky.

Wow, I can't believe i've never stumbled across this site before. It's so amazing to be able to have a community that shares the same problems and solutions. I've had my injury for almost 12 years and have only recently started looking for like minded(injured) people. I get by as best as i can, trying to find solutions for the day to day problems i face as an individual who only has the use of one arm. I fully sympathise with those on the board that relate their problems, and empathise as i've also encountered the difficulties they have faced. I'm glad i found this site, i'm hoping it will be a place of safety where i can discuss issues without the fear of judgement or condescension...what a relief.
