Hello!
I don't post much, because I don't have anything to offer the majority of the people on here. I try to help anyone that is considering amputation, but since I had my arm amputated, I can't talk about surgery, slings, Drs., or disablity. I got my disability because of my lack of lung function rather than my RTBPI. I'm very happy the boards are here and I come and view them regularly. It will pick up again I'm sure!

i have noticed that too. there have not been 10 posts in over a week. i guess everyone is at camp and is not coming in here. i really dont know when or where camp is, but i know it was supposed to be somewhere around this time. maybe it will pick up soon

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: Gun shot to left shoulder, brachial plexus injury to left arm and hand, all five nerves blown out, Dr Klein and Dr Tiel did the surgery.

i agree with you, i use to be on this forun all the time around 1999 had two good friends from england with bpi one took her life she just could'nt deal with her pain, may her soul rest in pace, i just posted but got no responce, hope you doing ok, Philip.

well, turns out this forum is the most active one I could find. BTW, hello everyone! my name is Doug and I joined the BPI club in late August of this year and this is my first post. I've got a lot to learn about this injury.
