Kim, I'm so glad you posted. I hope you understand your position with Dan is key to his survival. You are his rock. Honestly when the pain becomes his shadow you are the light he needs. No amount of medications are going to separate us from our pain. The best thing, that I've gathered from these boards, is distraction. Anything that can preoccupy us is key. Two are better than one and you and your family are wonderful for him. He was so excited that y'all gathered together to fund his brace from Dan. I was thrilled for him and couldn't wait for his review. I envy Dan and the support he has. I've been concerned lately not seeing any posts from him. Then I went to the UK site and there he was. So cool.
I think you are great.
My best to you and you're family and please know you all are always in my thoughts and heart.
Scott

Kim, Hey ! Just wanted to say Im glad you posted. Ive chatted with Daniel quite a few times and have to say he was always praising YOU for all you do for him and the kids !!! He says he dont know what hed do without you. You are something special for sticking with him the way you have. There are so many stories just on here that we see about people being injured and losing their "friends" in the process. Its so hurtful, Im sure. Daniel is a great guy and I surely miss chatting with him. Its been a while, where and how is he anyway ?? Tell him to get his butt back on here !

i just dont understand why ppl leave when a loved one or a friend is in this situation. we had so many friends before the accident and now there are a select few. i love daniel with all my heart, even if he ended up paralyzed from this accident i would still be here. he is still the same smart ass he was before lol. lol my friends tell me i spoil him, but i love it(rubbing his feet & his back). ima marry him so he is stuck with me lol. if any of yall want a new friend im here! you can find me on myspace. www.myspace.com/crawlingeye74 and my i.m. is crawling_eye63780@yahoo.com. have a great week ev1.
