Re: after surgery suggestion

My son just came out of a cast yesterday...I bought larger shirts and cut the sleeve off..but found that oversized sweatshirts that zippered worked great and offered extra warmth. I also bought a larger size winter coat and it worked great too.

Re: successful vaginal birth after BPI child

Hi Alisa,
Have you thought of asking your OB to induce you at 36 or 37 weeks, as long as the lungs are mature its possible. That would help keeping the weight of the baby more manageable to deliver. Just a thought.

<t>Dr. Grossman is located in Miami and he is fantastic. My son has a global injury and Horner's syndrome too. Dr. Grossman did primary surgery on him when he was 4 months old and I didn't see any movement till he was 11 months old. The progress my son has had is amazing. He started with nothing in ...

Re: Sidney has Botox with Dr Price This morning.

My son just had botox, a tendon transfer, a sub scapula slide and a release, by Dr. Price in NYC. I hope Sidney did great. Is Dr. Grossman Sidney's doctor as well?

Re: Avulsion?

If this reply comes thru twice, I apologize. But my son now 2 has numerous avulsions. He has a Global LOBPI. He had primary surgery at 4 months of age and now has some deltoid, bicep, and tricep back and can flutter all 5 fingers too. For him, any recovery is good.

Re: 8 month old not crawling

My son never crawled..he is a Global LOBPI. He pushed himself to the sitting position when he was about 10 months old..and then within a week started scooting and at 11 months old started cruising. He is 2 1/2 and still has never crawled.
