I think in some form or another it effects boys and girls. My son is almost 13 and yes he does get selfconcious sometimes especially with his shirt off...but I also think it bothers me alot more than him!.....good luck...

My son Mark is robpi and he is a righty...as a small boy he taught him self to throw lefty.....he is now 12

I read it and yes it did bring teas to my eyes.....no child should go with out help....and I personally think Dr. Nath is wonderful!

<r>Which again reminds us that every child is different........If your not comfortable yet..keep looking and asking questions. I did research and waited until I was convinced this was the way to go.(mark was older so I didn't have that long to think about it Dr. Nath wasn't performing the TT 12 year...

<t>.....I think the hardest part for me as a mom right now is keeping on top of Mark. He doesn't miss therapy and under no circumstances does he miss a day with out his splint...You know kids....(oh do I have to..It's a pain!)...I stand my ground and explain that for not this is what we need to do.....
