for a static stretch.....Try lying on the floor(on your back) with your legs bent 90 degrees at the hips-resting them against the wall.....extend both of your arms out to your sides and rest a flat weight on the open palm of your affected hand....if you close your eyes and relax it helps...

Hi,

I'm Joe, 31 yr old Male, LOBPI, Live in Ewing, NJ I don't think i have Horner's Syn., I had The Mod Quad surgery performed by Dr. Nath in 2005 I have seen minimal improvement post-op.I have a wonderfully supportive wife and an amazing 13 mo old Daughter.

Hi Marnie,

I am LOBPI and i have been playing guitar since i was 12 yrs old, my left hand is my fretting hand, it's a little difficult at first to find a comfortable playing position
with limited supination. I think he will be fine though.

They splint children in the statue of liberty position, adults are splinted using a pillow "abduction splint". I believe that it is done this way for adults because the affected arm has been at the side for so long that the arm/nerves/tendons need to be stretched gradually.
