Relief maybe....
<r>Hey, Check out the link below. It looks promising. Carrie and I will ask her pain management doctor on the 23rd about this drug. If someone else has an appointment earlier ask them and let us know. Dick<br/> <br/> <URL url="http://www.darabio.com/krn5500.htm">http://www.darabio.com/krn5500.htm</U...

Re: the efficacy of motor cortex stimulation for pain control
Hi, Carrie just recently had her spinal cord stimulator removed. After 8 years and countless adjustments it never worked to relieve any pain. She has the classic C5-T1 avulsions.

Re: Spinal Cord Stimulator
<t>Hey, Carrie has an appointment to get her Spinal Cord Stimulator removed in January. It's never worked to reduce the pain and it's uncomfortable when she's lying in bed. I wish we would have had success with it, but not with her classic TBPI avulsions C5-T1. Hope it works for you if you decide to...

Hey, Hope you're going to make it to Phillip Island for the moto-gp in October. Would love to be there. Stoner has been having tire problems, but Bridgestone should have things figured out by then.
Have fun...

Re: SPC (Spinal Cord Stimulation)
Hi, My wife Carrie had no decrease in pain with her SCS implant. She has the classic C5-T1 avulsions, different from your injury. Check out Christophers subject "sticking it to the pain", lot of information there.

Re: epidural steroid injection, any "first hand" reports?
Hi, Carrie had subclavian block injections to combat the pain from her classic C5-T1 avulsions a couple of years back. She experienced a very slight pain reduction for a hour or so, then it all returned. Good Luck...

Re: spinal cord stimulator does it work for bpi
Hi, Carrie had a spinal cord stimulator(scs) installed a few years back and it has not worked at relieving pain. She has the classic avulsions C5-T1. Maybe the scs can or may possibly work on bpi nerves that have been stretched or damaged, but not disconnected.
