Re: What happened immediately after your birth?
<t>My daughter is 9 now and I went through the same feelings of despair and abandonment when she was handed to me being given little or no information as to her injury. But please do not allow yourself to believe, not for one minute, that the doctors and nurses are not trained to recognize this type...

Re: all of this disgusts me....
<t>This is so scary! All those maneuvers were used for the delivery of my son (except for the Zavanelli..He came out vaginally) plus vacuum! It is a miracle that nothing happened to him! He is my first born...he's 12 now. Because he eventually came out OK, the doctor never documented a shoulder dyst...

She couldn't bring her hand to her face, couldn't palm-up, elbow stuck out and couldn't bring her hand away and outward from her belly. Now s...

Re: Settling out of court.
<t>We just settled after an agonizing day of picking a jury (cleared the room out of about 100 jurors and could only come up with 7 jurors; couldn't even fill the 8th seat.)Nobody wants to be bothered with this stuff! Finally, after 2 full days of litigation, the doctor's insurance company finally c...
