I will have to think of something creative to bring from MN. But thats not the main reason I am posting. I am finally positive that my mom will be coming to camp!!! I am so excited, I just got off the phone with her and I had to share! She will ba a little late in arrival because of a work meeting in San Diego but she is coming!

Cant wait to see every one!
Hugs,
Amy 20 years old ROBPI from MN

hehe, I would bring Poutine (very typical Quebec dish) but it really does not travel well... mind you I could bring the parts to make it, all I need are fries there... (the rest is brown sauce, but good sauce and curd cheese) YUMMERS!

LOL, in any case I will find something Canadian and Montreal to bring!

OK all,

I really hate to have to tell you this, as much as I love the idea, the camp, infact no camp, will let us bring in our own food and cook it. They don't even want us to bring in any food except snacks. The camp could get there license taken away. This is for health safety.

Traci when I first read you post, I was so excited and then after talking with Nancy she reminded me about the laws and food. Sorry guys. That Friday night would of been ideal. I had it all mapped out in my head. Oh well.

Hugs, Karen

how sad... it sounded like so much yummy fun.

Perhaps we could all bring pictures of our local foods...
