a, on my back, although once he was jammed they tried to turn me onto my side, but then put me back onto my back, this is how I stayed when they finally (8 minutes stuck) managed to pull him free.

I was on my back, but had to semi sit up to push after the baby was stuck (and after the nurses pushed on from the top of my stomache!)

After reading much of the research I have read, it really saddens me to see that all of us more or less delivered on our backs--the absoulte worst position.
Curious how many had epidurals which may have contributed as well? I did.
