Hi everybody. We are from Avondale, AZ. My husband's name is Dale, I'm Raquel, we have a son Matthew and our bpi baby is Kaylee. Matthew is 4 1/2 and goes to preschool, which he loves. Kaylee will be two next month. She had primary surgery when she was 9 months. She was recommened for the mod quad 6 months ago, but we decided to give her more time. She started getting chiropractic adjustments and that really improved her range. Two weeks ago, Dr. Nath was in town and was impressed with her movement. He said at this point to just wait. She can touch the top of her head. He said if she is able to touch the back of her head within the year, a future surgery would be unlikely. We are so glad we waited.

I really like this idea, too bad we can't add pictures to our posts. I'd love to be able to put a face with the name. It was so nice to meet everyone.

Hi,my name is Pam. I have 3 children Laurel age 10, John robpi age 8, and Sarah age 6. We live in Minnesota and John has had had 2 surgeries at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
We attended the UBPN camp in Colorado last summer which was a wonderful experience for our whole family.

John enjoys playing soccer, hockey, baseball and skiing(without poles!!). His latest request is he wants to try BMX biking. Scary for the mom.

Currently, we are doing chiropractic care for GI Reflux which may or may not be related to the bpi. Otherwise no formal therapy anymore.

I am Bonnie and have been visiting here since January.

My daughter is Avery and she was born with a ROBPI. She has very limited function, she has weak wrist and hand and VERY strong pecs but that's it. She was born at 10 lbs 4 oz on Jan. 18th.

We just found out yesterday that she is being referred to Toronto BP Clinic for an assessment within the next 4 weeks or so. We live in Saskatchewan.

I also have a 4 y/o daughter (Alison) who was born at 6 lbs 3 oz and doesn't have an injury. She is wonderful with Avery.

I'm Glenis. My daughter, Shannah is 8 years old and has right erbs palsy since birth. She weighed in at 8lbs 10oz which seems to be below average for this kind of injury. Her sister, Molly, is 6 next week. Weighed heavier but no injury thank goodness. We live in Derbyshire in the UK. Shannah has always had very good ROM. She underwent coracoidectomy and botox injection in September and we found out last week surgeon doesn't need to see her for another year.
