i have never ever had surgery or anything done to my arm. i still get shocking like elctricuting pains in my arm. in fact, i came on today to see if anyone else had them. it seems to me that most of you have had surgery and have them so i dont know if i can relate due to that. but i still get shocks and they only last a couple seconds... it really hurts alot and i just keep getting then every 20 minutes... it usually is like that for a couple days and then dies down and i only get them every so often after that. wow this is cool. lol

Yes, indeed. It seems I usually get them more so after I have overused my arm. I have just recently started back to college and so I'm not using my arm a lot like I was before at work. Although now because I am sitting so long I've been getting the tremendous neck pain as well. If I work to hard it'll usually happen again. It's amazing how many people actually have this type of injury. For years I thought I was the only one. And I am so thankful that I met everyone here to help me cope. If there's anything at all I can do to help you out please let me know.

It is sooo wonderful to validate my "shooting pains" that come & go at their will.Mostly when I overdo & am very tired;still it does happen anytime when nothing is going on.I get them in the neck, shoulder, arm, hand, finger, leg & foot. I too, get numbness at times;I am LOBPI.
I haven't been on the Boards for a while, so hello again everyone.
