I was always wondering the same thing.
I am 5'2 and sabrina was 8lb5 at 38 weeks.

new to this site-I am 5'2". 4 kids ranging from 8 1/2 lbs to 10 lbs, all healthy. My son has a RTBPI.

I am 5'4. Second child with ROBPI weighed 11 lbs. 3 oz. Third child taken c-section one month early weighed 10 lbs. 9 oz. 1st weighed 8 lbs. Heather in KY

That is such an interesting thought. I would love to know more. Gosh, there is so much research and things that really should be investigated.

Yes! Look at some of the risk factors for large babies. Height and weight are listed. I fall into this also.

I'm 5'5" babe 8lb3oz. Let's not forget that hcp skill at delivery (or lack of)is the usual cause. Don't blame your body!
