I forgot to say I'm LTBPI. Luckily in my situation, I'm right handed (Luckily, whats the term oxymoron or something?)

Are you the injured, spouse, parent or other: Injured
How long injured: March 2007
OBPI or TBPI: TBPI
How were you injured:
Dr was performing rotator cuff surgery/bicep tendon tear and entrapped my Brachial artery and the ulnar and medial nerves in 2 figure 8 sutures and forgot to release them at the end of the surgery. This was not found until Jun 07 but by then I had also went through 2 arterial bypass surgeries with arteries removed from both of my legs. I have no left hand and no supination of forearm or hand. Forearm and hand atrophied away.

Hello to All,

Date of Injury: August 6 2008
TBPI
I had cervical fusion that went arry. Woke from surgery with no left arm. Fingers are good though, ha. The pain is my biggest issue. Have tried just about everything, I think. Denied Social Security the first time so am appealing. It's been a helluva ride to say the least. Now am out of job and with that, no insurance. This site has such a blessing. People to share with that understand the pain and information that just incredibly valuable.
