Oh Karrie I am so sorry you have had such a terrible week. I just had to put my 15yr old puppy to sleep in May, so I know that it hurts. You will be kept in our prayers that this week will get better for you and the God will help you get through this trial so that you can relax and take care of yourself. Please remember that I am here for you and that if you need anything just call, I don't live that far from you, you know. Take care.

My grandmother, a wise old Appalachian full of folk tales and remedies, always used to tell me that bad things happen in threes. You have had your three.

And that after those three, good things happen. Looking forward to hearing about those good things.

Karrie,

I'm sorry about everything going on in your life right now, my thoughts are with you.

I can relate a little bit, last summer my son had surgery and was in a cast and splint (we live in Phoenix, it was miserable for him) and at the same time I watched my #1 cat (first cat I ever had) die from a tumor growth. At the end of the summer I had to put my cat to sleep, and that on top of the surgery / recovery stuff with my son felt like an awful lot to deal with.

From a year's perspective I can see how the important lessons of both of those experiences in my life are intertwined and support one another...I was always trying to separate the two issues in my head but now I can see that life happens in certain ways sometimes where things go hand in hand...and the overall "life lesson" has so much more combined value.

None of that probably is very comforting or helpful right now, but maybe over time it will be.

Best wishes, and best of luck to you with your trial.

I am sorry for the loss of your dear pet, I know what that feels like.

Bridget
