I always had dreams of falling when I was a child. My biggest fear has always been falling for two reasons:
1.) Due to my LOBPI, my balance has always been screwy, making me more prone to falling.
2.) I always get hurt when I fall since I can't "catch" myself "normally."
Maybe these dreams were related to the injury, maybe they weren't. I have never been aware in my dreams that my arm was different or the same. However, dreams are part of our subconscious and reflect the things we think about or are afraid of or worrie about, so I can see how a BPI would figure in a dream, especially if it was not caused by a birth injury, but was a sudden change that someone has had to learn to deal with after learning to do things "normally."

I don't have BPI, my 4 year old son does. I have had dreams that he wakes up completely recovered. I did have a dream when I was pregnant with him that my family got into a car accident and he got stuck in the carseat and we had to yank him out which broke his arm. I had this one twice. It was so real and in color. Also, one of my husbands aunts had a dream that he was injured in a tennis match and broke his shoulder, this was before he was born. When I was pregnant with Manny, my oldest, I saw him in a dream at 2 years old. The weird thing about that is from birth to 2 his looks completely changed, hair and everything and what I saw was how he actually looked.

dreams have always amazed me, I could go on for days.
