Congatulations. Isn't it a great feeling to know that your daughter will be taken care of. Sit back and enjoy the peace this will bring to your family. I wish this could be the case for everyone.

Yeah DeShawn--I am so happy that it is all over for you and you can move on and focus only on the girls now. I know what that legal umbrella feels like and it is getting darned heavy...you did it Mommy and Rain will thank you someday.

Congratulations. Quite an impressive settlement! Rain deserves every penny. Actually, the largest settlement ever was just recently (in the spring) in Chicago, IL - 3.3 million, settled by my lawyer.
Hopefully the $ will help Rain in the future. Good luck!

A $3.3m settlement in Chicago (above post). $2.375 settlement in NJ (recent post referring to article in law.com - New Jersey). A substantial settlement in Texas (Rain). Maybe all the education and awareness is beginnign to work. Maybe docs are realizing what they did was just wrong. I hope.
