Hi Renee, so sorry your feeling out in left field on this. Therapists are hard to come by here in Canada I agree with that however in my case I need only to ask my Doctor and he will refer me to the Hospital Therapy Department. Sadly that isn't much as I have to do the education on BPI with the Therapist. The good thing about it is that I do get to use the Hydro Therapy pool , I only need to ask. Another option that works is taking my child to the local recreation pool and doing Rom and exercises with her in the hot tob for brief periods of time. Don't worry about all the therapies and so on that you read about. I believe that having an active child that you work with and teach to do things to the best of their ability is the Best any Mom can offer. It has taken me a long time to get to this place but now that I am here life is much less stressful. Now I am not saying stop seaking more information or seeing specialists.......just saying that being at peace and working with your childs abilities can be amazing too.
