We are very actively working on a camp location and will get details out as soon as that is confirmed. The exact dates are dependent upon what we can work out with a camp.
It will be Awareness week 2005. We just have not worked out yet which part of Awareness Week!
Karen McClune is UBPN's Camp Coordinator. She will be posting here as soon as she has some things firmed up.

I am definitely interested in finding out when and where camp will be. I didn't know about this camp until only a few minutes ago. I really think it would help my family. Please do keep me posted on the specifics.

I am still working on Camp 2005 and as soon as I have details you will know as I will post here.
We do know that camp 2005 will be in Oct 2005 and somewhere in or around Wash. D.C.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

I AM A 40 YRS MAN FROM INDIA I MET WITH AN ACCIDENT IN 1988 AND IT RESULTED IN BRACHIAL PLEXUS INJURY OF MY RIGHT UPPER LIMB,THE RIGHT UPPER LIMB IS COMPLETLY PARALYSED SINCE THEN WITH NO RECOVARY,ITS TOTAL ROOT AVULSION,I AM EXPERINCING SEVERE PAIN ALL THE TIME AND I HAVE TRIED ALL MEDICATIONS FOR THAT BUT NO HELP.I LASTLY TOOK GABABANTIN TABLETS 3 TIMES A DAY BUT NO HELP,Ihave pain in all seasons,night and day,any breeze pains me,i REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE HELP ME IN TREATMENT I WAS TOLD THAT YOUR CONCERN IS INVOLVED IN HELPING THESE PATIENTS TO RECOVER I WOULD BE VERY GREATFULL TO YOU IF YOU CAN ARRANGE FOR SOME VOLUNTEER AGENCY WHO WOLUD HELP IN DONATING FUNDS FOR THIS TREATMENT.I AM AN UNEMPOYED AND ECONIMICALLY BACKWARD FAMILY MAN,I WOULD SEND YOU MORE DETAILED LETTER ALONG WITH THE MEDICAL REPORT OF THE DOCTORS WHOM I HAVE VISITED HERE IN INDIA,PLEASE HELP ME.I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHEN THE CAMP IS AND PLEASE HELP ME TO REACH THE CAME BY WAY OF DONATION FOR FINANCE
