Still waiting for our copy in Atlanta too! Carol
Re: Outreach
Got mine a couple of weeks ago! Great issue as usual. Many thanks to those who work so hard to produce it.
The only thing that was a bit of a concern was it was delivered unwrapped...very odd..no plastic covering or anything, just the magazine.
I'm surprised that it got here in one piece!!
Are all magazines etc delivered this way in the US? They would be completely wrecked over here, mainly by the rain when the 'friendly' delivery bloke drops it in a puddle on the driveway!

Re: Outreach
Hi Liz,
My Outreach are never wrapped. Some magazines that I receive are wrapped and others aren't.
Hope all is going well over your part of the world, see you both soon.
Hugs, Karen

Re: Outreach
Liz,
The ones that go out of the country go first class (since our non profit rate only works within the US).
The ones sent abroad are always in a white envelope because we must attach postage. Isn't that the way you have received them in the past? I wonder how this one slipped through and how the postage was affixed. Can you let me know as we need to check with our printer & mailing house if something has gone awry.
So to answer your question, yes, here in the US, they are just mailed out as magazines without any covering material and most of the time they arrive without any problem.

- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.
