- Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: I am ROBPI, global injury, Horner's Syndrome. No surgery but PT started at 2 weeks old under the direction of New York Hospital. I wore a brace 24/7 for the first 11 months of my life. I've never let my injury be used as an excuse not to do something. I've approach all things, in life, as a challenge. I approach anything new wondering if I can do it. I tried so many things I might never have tried, if I were not obpi. Being OBPI has made me strong, creative, more determined and persistent. I believe that being obpi has given me a very strong sense of humor and compassion for others.

Louise
You have creative skills...
I opened this post went to the bottom and before I read it I thought you were swearing at Gayle... LOL..
I got a real hoot out of that because I looked at who posted and thought WOW what happened!
Then I read the post thanks for the laugh out loud.
Alas I can't make happy faces either.
Kath (adult/robpi)

Gayle,
I agree that any questions you are asking about your childs injury/progress, treatment, etc. may be better done as a guest for the purpose of your lawsuit, but I'm glad you agree that in that context I don't think hiding as a guest was legally necessary. It seems to me that most of the guest posts come about when arguing about doctors which is not going to be a factor in a lawsuit. Obviously when you are involved in a lawsuit, it's going to be known by both sides what doctor your child is seeing for treatment so if you want to share information with other BPI parents about that doctor's practices it is neither going to help or hurt your case, therefore negating the need for anonymity.
I just wish people here could stand up for their opinions and use their names when they aren't asking or responding to questions with legal implications. Stop hiding behind the guests posts when you wish to instigate debates.

Did nobody see that on the second guest post there was an apology for misunderstanding the post?

You have no room to say anything when after this whole thread is about guest posting, you still made up a name and are hiding behind your name.
There was an apology, we are not blind.

I have never in my life encountered anyone as rude as you!
If guests posters are not invited in here, then let UBPN shut down the option. In the meantime there are plenty of people who post as guests and with aliases. Are you going to attack all of them, too?
