Stormy,

Thanks for sharing. Did you hear what the child said at the very, very end? How cute is that? My child feels the same way about the man.

I wish we could all share clips like that of our child. It was so nice to see how well this boy was doing with his movement and to see his parents feeling happy about all the progress.

What an amazing video clip !!! Thank you for sharing it and now since I am new today to this board and frankly new to even knowing there were others like me out there. I am a 51 yo woman who until recently has never had a single DR tell me there might be something to help my brachial plexus injury. Growing up with a drooped shoulder, right arm three inches shorter than the other, and with very limited range of motion, I was emotionally traumatized in all the ways you might imagine. Yesterday, however, I sustained an extension/weight injury that sent me into such pain I could not move. I very much need to chat with other adults who can give me some guidance on what might help with pain and perhaps even know of specialists who work with adults.

Thank you for any help you can provide and Email me at SwtBrooke@aol.com.

Hi, welcome to the board! You should post a message on this board asking for help and support. There are a lot of people in your position that come to this board regularly, but they may not have read this particular thread. I have a daughter with a birth brachial plexus injury, but many on the board are adults dealing with your difficulties. I hope you'll post!

Take care,
Wendy

Thank you so much for sharing this clip! It's great to see Dr. Kozin starting to get the recognition he deserves for his caring manner with children & adults and researched, cutting-edge surgery he does with children. We see him for our son Nathan, 27 months (no surgeries yet - has another MRI coming up in May or June), and feel really confident that he offers a balanced view between respecting what recovery Nathan has versus always being on the look-out for bio-mechanical correctness and whether the shoulder joint is moving/forming correctly. We feel really grateful for his expertise!
