We had a 3D CT scan done of my daughter's shoulders. Does it seem that most kids with a OBPI have a space between the shoulder joint and the top of the humerus? Does anyone know why? What is holding the bone near the joint but not in it? Is the acromioplasty supposed to help that issue?

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the presecription for the 3D scan. Dr. Nath suggested that we have one, but I'm not sure where to get the presecription for it. Thanks a lot.

(I had to create a new account on my home computer but I am the same person as the orignal poster.) We got a script from Dr. Nath (just call Lisa T. or Angel) and then we had to have our local pediatrician basically write the same script because in NY you have to have a script from a local doctor. My daughter had to be sedated so I had to make sure that her pediatrican had admitting rights to the hospital doing the CT scan.
