I think you are talking about Dr. Nath at Texas Children's hospital.

Well Welcome to the boards. I'm am glad you found your way here. You don't know how many times I have heard adults say they thought they were the only one with this injury. Unfortunately that is not true. There are many. I have a 6 yr. old son who was injured at birth. He has had one surgery and is scheduled for another in April. We are going to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. Dr. Nath will be his surgeon. That must be who you are refering to. Texas has an excellent brachial plexus team. There are several surgeries they can do to improve the arm. You can check out his site at:
http://www.drnathbrachialplexus.com
or contact them at 1-888-368-8215
They are great with this injury. You can learn alot from this site. And anything you want to ask, just do, usually someone can help provide an answer. Again, welcome to our family. I hope you find a lot of support here.
Karrie

Welcome!I found this site a few mos ago.it sure is a relief to know there are so many out there!I have bpi in both arms. Left is much worse than rt.I'm 51 and like many of us we learn to adapt and go on.I had 3 surgeries when I was younger and have other problems I'm not a candidate for surgery.Listen to all these people and look into surgery.Dr. Nath is one of the best.Good luck.I'll keep you in my prayers.
