Just curious at what different ages your children began to crawl? Ava has LOBPI and I'm wondering if she will be a bit delayed.

Gavin pulled himself along commando style from about 5.5 months and was crawling on all fours by about 10-11 months and walking at 16 months.
The crawling is GREAT exercise for their shoulders, all that weight bearing is such good therapy!

My son crawled at 8 months. It was a hop-a-long sort of crawl, and frequently he crawled using the top of his hand, rather than the palm. He started walking just before 12 months.....

Ella didn't crawl with both arms until after she was walking. She walked around 12.5 months old and began to crawl the correct way at 13 months old.
They find a way to get around whether they crawl with both arms or not. I was so worried about Ella not crawling normally and now when I look back that should have been the least of my worries. Ava will be just fine even if she can't crawl at the "usual" time frame for babies.

My granddaughter(lobpi)walked before she learned to crawl. She began walking at 13 months and finally did some crawling at 15 months. She doesn't like to crawl and we have to make a "game" of it for her to actually crawl.

I never crawled and still cannot weight bear on my right arm. My Mom said I just walked at 9 months...

Melanie recovered at 9 weeks and crawled at 9 months.

Matthew has a severe injury and started crawling and walking at 14 months.

kearney crawled totally normal at 8 months. She is 12.5 months and still only crawlimg!

Hi there! Ashley never crawled but started walking at 16 months............slow and stead but sure! Don't worry about delays.....it's all an averange anyway!
